“ We love Cattleman's and it being right around the corner from our house we come often. After a particularly long day we came in for a delicious dinner. Unfortunately it was a very busy night with some huge parties happening. We were lucky enough to interact with the manager, Kendrick. He turned a long dinner, with several hiccups, into a great experience and we left with smiles on our faces. Kendrick is extremely personable and genuinely put us all at ease with his upbeat attitude and positivity, even through a tough night. We just wanted to say thank you, Kendrick, for turning a bummer situation and night, into a positive experience! ”
“ Went there for my spouse's Christmas party (Dec 19). Separate room and food options were included in the reservations. When we got there on a Thursday night, the parking lot was busy. We made our way in to our reserved room. I saw a couple of rooms with group reservations as well. This place was packed but glad we had our own space. The organizer told us that 30 people were needed to secure a room. Food was reasonably priced with appetizers, main meal and dessert included. Everything was delicious except the cheese cake size was very small. It was half of a cupcake size...not that I needed more but that's besides the point. Our waitress was very respectful and patient. Overall, we had a good time. It was well organized and didn't have to wait for food. I highly recommend this place for group parties. I would probably go with a friend/family but we don't eat a lot of meat. ”
“ I had a really great night at Cattlemens in Dixon! The atmosphere from even the parking lot had a jolly buzz, with every customer leaving laughing and smiling. I made a reservation and was able to be seated right away and was pleasantly surprised. There were big parties that were waiting, but in my small group it was zero wait. I really enjoyed my server, Jake he has a great positive attitude and pulls a smile out of you, which Is appreciated. I ordered the Ribeye and had both a twice baked potato and a sweet potato with pecan butter. I had the recommended blackberry lavender lemonade which was good too. Jake was attentive and the manager Kendrick was very friendly and welcoming too. The whole experience was great and I too found myself leaving happy! (And full haha) ”
“ Pretty good steakhouse. I always forgot they don't open for lunch - I feel like I'm always thinking to go there on the weekend for lunch and then remember their hours. Rustic decor. Honestly the most memorable item on their menu is a friend apple pie desert they do. Can't beat that dessert- it's amazing. I will go back just to have that dessert again. ”
“ We visited Cattlemens on Wednesday for my birthday dinner! We arrived a little after 4pm (AKA before the rush) and only waited about 10 minutes for a table. My husband and I did the Steak Dinner for Two which is such a good deal! 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert for $80 - plus all the sides! We had salad, bread, beans and we both chose baked potatoes. I got the 6 oz Filet Mignon and he got the T-Bone Steak. Both of our steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection! The Filet Mignon melted in my mouth! My daughter order the Kids Ribs with Apple Sauce, but unfortunately the ribs were very tough - she could not get the meat off of the bones. I normally don't send food back, but since it was her entrée - our server suggested we do a small steak for her instead which my daughter loved. For dessert, we ordered the Fried Apple Pie with Ice Cream. The whole meal besides the ribs was very good! We walked away very full and happy! Staff was also very friendly from the moment we walked through the door. Thank you Cattlemens for a great birthday dinner! We'll be back soon! ”
